"Lots of animals like to eat this bird, but it has some secret weapons like its long sharp silver colored beak. If it bites you it will release venom into your skin. It won't kill you, but your skin would burn for a long time. "It can fly and its coloring is green so it can blend with its surroundings. The bird feeds on ants and other bugs. It catches them by pecking a hole in the dirt with its long beak. "In mating season the male will fight all the other sword birds for the mate he wants. They mate like other birds and the male and female will build a nest in a high tree out of their feathers, leaves and moss. "He keeps his mate and chicks safe using the same techniques he used to keep him safe. After the chicks grow up they leave to start their own families. "Sword birds stay year long in one place. Its feathers are warm and waterproof. They are about one foot tall and females are brown and green."
