Create a butterfly bulletin board in the hallway outside your classroom. Display all the projects, discoveries, and activities your classroom is working on. Make sure it has a big header, like "Discovering Butterflies," with lots of room to post:
- Butterfly art
- Butterfly designs and descriptions you've invented
- Things butterflies love
- What We Want to Know webs (see p. 12 and 13)

Create a bulletin board about the life cycle. Using paper, paint, crayons, or whatever materials you choose, construct a great big caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly. Label the anatomy and include fun facts in butterfly shapes, encouraging students to look inside the wings for the answers. (You can use the butterfly shape on page 16.) Put this bulletin board in the hallway so other kids can see what you're learning!
